Your people are your AI advantage.

We help your teams make AI part of how they work, with measurable impact within 90 days. For CEOs and leadership teams at companies of 50 to 5,000 people.

Where things stand today

Everyone's experimenting.Governance is missing.Impact is unknown.People are starting to feel unsafe.

Each of these problems has a name, and each one can be solved.

  1. AI pilot purgatory: when experiments never become the work.

Today, the licences get bought and the pilots get started, but the operating model never follows. That means access without adoption, and activity without measurable outcomes.

  2. Shadow AI: when people use AI on their own.

Today, employees are often using AI quietly, on their own accounts, without shared rules or oversight. That means good ideas stay with one person, and leadership can't see where the risk sits.

  3. Vanity AI: when activity is mistaken for impact.

Today, few businesses can say with confidence what their AI investments return. Every pilot's impact can be measured, and we help you measure it.

  4. FOBO: the fear of becoming obsolete.

Today, people's fear of being replaced is starting to pull against the organization's fear of missing out. That means resistance shows up quietly, in pilots that stall and work that never changes.

We believe AI is an unstoppable force. We also believe the organizations that do well with it will keep their people at the centre. That's why every engagement we run is a human-centered AI transformation.

What changes

AI transformation, without the theatre

We redesign how work gets done so AI becomes part of how the business runs. That changes three things.

GovernanceRules your people understand
Today: AI on personal accounts, with no shared rules
With NoW: Sanctioned AI, with clear limits and a named person who checks the output
WorkflowsPilots that become the work
Today: Pilots that stall before they reach the work
With NoW: Live workflows, measured and owned by a named person on your team
PeopleConfidence in place of fear
Today: Fear of becoming obsolete
With NoW: People choosing to work with AI, because they helped decide what changes in their own jobs

Put simply: governance makes AI safe to use, workflows make it useful, and your people make it last.

What we offer

Three ways to work with us

A full company transformation won't be the right first step for every organization, and it doesn't have to be. Some leadership teams start with one team and one day. Others start with three months inside one department. Each step changes a specific behaviour. Together they change the company.

Both Transformations include

  • 1-Day AI Sprint sessions
  • AI Strategy
  • Assessment surveys
  • AI training and best practices
  • Our framework
  • An AI backlog
  • Finding the right solutions
  • Piloting
  • Pivot, persevere or punt

Put simply: start with the free assessment or an AI Boardroom Clinic. Prove it with a 1-Day AI Sprint on one team's real work. Then make it how a team, or the whole company, works with a Transformation.

Not sure which fits? Talk to our team and we'll tell you which one, honestly.

The record

100+ NoW Hackathons. 300+ stages and boardrooms. And on every Transformation, the same commitment: 90 days to measurable impact, then steady momentum every month after.

How we work

We've sat in the seat you're in. Since 2016, The NoW of Work has helped organizations work through change, and today our own operations run on AI too. That means we only recommend what we use ourselves.

What to expect

A calmer, clearer way to become an AI-enabled organization

Every engagement follows the same five steps. We start with leadership, prove value on real work, then build AI Champions in every team so the change holds after we step out.

  1. Start where you are: a grounded read on your next 90 days.

The free AI Transformation Readiness Assessment shows where you stand before anything is bought or booked.

  2. Name the win: what counts, in your words.

You choose what counts: revenue lift, capacity returned or margin recovered.

  3. Prove it on real work: pilots on your team's own work.

Results are measured against the win you named in step 2.

  4. Choose your pace: one team or the whole company.

Start with one team over three months, or bring the whole company along over twelve.

  5. Capability you keep: AI Champions who stay.

Two to ten people in each team learn first and lead their colleagues, long after the engagement ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should we start?

For most leadership teams, the first step is the free AI Transformation Readiness Assessment, or a four-hour AI Boardroom Clinic. From there:

  • The 1-Day AI Sprint proves value on real work.
  • Team Transformation takes one team through three months on its own workflows.
  • Company Transformation brings every team along.

If your leadership is already committed, you can skip steps.

How much does working with you cost?
  • AI Boardroom Clinic: $5,000.
  • 1-Day AI Sprint: $10,000 plus travel.
  • Team Transformation: from $36,000 for three months.
  • Company Transformation: from $250,000 over twelve months.

Final pricing is confirmed through a formal proposal.

How soon will we see results?

We commit to measurable impact within 90 days and steady momentum every month after. Before we start, you define the win. We then measure against it every month and report it to your leadership honestly.

How is this different from a big consulting firm?

Large consultancies often deliver a strategy deck, then leave your people to work out how to make it real. We embed, build and train:

  • We redesign workflows with the people who do them.
  • We train AI Champions inside each team.
  • We measure progress against the win you defined.

The result is a capable team that keeps going on its own.

Should we hire a Chief AI Officer or work with you?

You can do both. At your size, a full-time Chief AI Officer often comes early and costs a lot, and one person can't change how every team works alone. We work alongside your leadership team and train AI Champions inside each department, so the capability sits with the people doing the work. If you hire one later, they inherit a working operating model and a team that already uses AI properly.

Can we start small and grow from there?

Yes. Many clients start with the AI Boardroom Clinic or a 1-Day AI Sprint to prove value on real work first. They then move to Team Transformation and Company Transformation when they're ready. You choose the pace, and we price for it.

Do you use AI yourselves?

Yes. Our own operations run on AI: research, drafting, reporting and follow-up. A person reviews anything that leaves the building. That means we only recommend what we use ourselves.

Which AI tools do you work with?

We use the tools your teams already have or are choosing between: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Zapier, plus the integrations they bring. You buy licences from the vendor directly. We bring the method:

  • Picking the right workflows.
  • Agreeing usage rules with your IT lead.
  • Building on real work so the tools get used.
How do you keep AI use safe and governed?

With your leadership and AI Champions, we agree on usage rules, data boundaries and review steps, so people know what's allowed and who checks the output. Shadow AI becomes sanctioned AI: visible, deliberate and owned. Decisions about people stay with people.

How do you measure success?

You define the win before we start, in your words: revenue lift, capacity returned or margin recovered. We track every pilot with an AI rating score and a human experience score. Every month, we report against that win, including what isn't working yet.
